Review Detail

Rating Ft Fisher is hard because it depends on what you are looking for. At first, we were disappointed since it is between the ocean and Cape Fear River yet the views of either of these is limited. The RV park has no real view. There is an "overflow area" with hookups that has a fair view of the river. The facilities are great. The park has paved parking and has very spacious sites. The sites are in the open. The overflows are shaded and on grass. There is a nice pier on the river for fishing and what appears to be a nice snack bar (it was closed for the season). Beach access is a bit of hike. The NC Aquarium is a short ride away. We would probably be much more excited were it not winter and things were up and running. We'll go back.
