Had the pleasure of being there while the Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues and Jazz festival was going on. What a great time we had. If you have never been to this and like that type of music, it's a must. The local chamber of commerce does an outstanding job putting this together. As for the cg it's self, I feel like most reviewers. You can not beat the location and price. It is great. We love to go there even though it could use some work and updating. I have been going to Ft Fisher for about 10 years, so I see no reason to stop going now. It's our vacation spot. I understand there was a change over to a new site manager and they were not sure if he was going to go ahead with the plans for a new bath house. It could use it no bones about that. I would still highly reccomend this as a place to go. You just can not go wrong for the price and location.
