A fantastic facilty. The staff makes it so...seems that most are workcampers and they go out of their way to accomodate. We drove them crazy, I'm sure, because our departure keeps being delayed. Not a problem with them...they are so accomodating. They also organize special socials for events like Vets Day and Thanksgiving...a very nice touch. Nellis is a wonderful base (love the library, commisary, club, and PX) even to us Army guys. The physical plant is great but the staff is the icing on the cake. Earlier comments re washers and dryers seem to have been fixed. Quite a few spread throughout the area. Very pet friendly. The new section has a gravel border surrounding most of the camp. There is huge desert area where the beasts can frolic. They have a neat "socializing" area for the dogs that is great.
