My wife and I visited this campground because of it's location and access to the lake. While the scenery, sunsets, and abundant animal sightings were very good, there are some things that need correcting. BAD - location was 20 miles from area attractions and significant shopping, campground was not maintained well (many downed branches and trees and grass not cut), no visible security, no sewage connection at site, bathrooms were good, but needed better maintenance, not big rig friendly (35' and bigger will have problems), all sites needed leveling. GOOD - marina and access to lake was very good, cabins (separate from campground) were excellent, sites are blacktopped, quiet campground, WIFI available at bath house, nice country store at marina. To fully enjoy this campground you must either own a boat or rent a boat. To me it is worth another visit and we will return.
