I want to repost everything that was said by “mhstevens” dated Nov 2013. I have to add that Kenny and the staff are making this a “Premier” FAMCAMP. He said that future plans are to asphalt the roads throughout the campground, what a bonus!! It will be absolutely in the running for “Best Military Campground”. All the pads are concrete and have full hook-up; sorry no cable, but you’ll have no problems with your satellite. Every site has been provided with extra water hose and the entire campground are getting fancy new concrete tables!! There are two sites that have sidewalks going from the site to the facilities, so if you’re on your motorized chair or scooter this is extremely helpful. While there loads of crush and run were delivered and the roads graded and being well maintained. Our plans were to stay for a week but decided to stay on for another, the rules are the rules and strictly enforced, 14 days and you must move, period! No homesteading here!! Commissary and BX is a short walk if you want the exercise but I preferred driving myself. The MPs/Post Security comes through on a regular patrol. Most of all, I can’t say enough for Kenny and his staff for going the extra mile, providing us with one of the best Famcamps and a pleasurable stay at Aviation Arbor. This is a diamond in the rough. I do have one issue "NO Camp Host", they never had one, what a shame. This FamCamp is over-all a true 5 star.
