In a word - FANTASTIC. I'm going the full 5 stars because Aviation Arbor has got it all, and as they say - Location, location, location! Have stayed at many military facilities, including some ranked as "Best Military Campground" and this needs to be classed right up there with them. Level concrete pads surrounded by well maintained grass, with lighted gravel roadways; excellent 20/30/50 amp electric with sewer and water (and an added bonus of extra long water hose at most sites for cleanup); clean and modern bath house and laundry facility; short drive to commissary/exchange and base ITT (closed on Sun/Mon) and other base amenities. Having given top marks to the facility, I can't say enough about MWR park manager, Kenny McCune. One of the most helpful site managers I've come in contact with, he runs this facility with pride and it shows. Need area info or a recommendation for a good place to eat off the beaten path - he has it all and gives each "resident" personal attention to make the stay comfortable. Speaking of food recommendation - if you want great catfish - Adams Catfish House is just a few miles from the park - awesome food! Thanks for that also Kenny!!
