Called in for a late arrival reservation while on the road. Kenny was very helpful and directed us to park in space 11 when we got in and to check-in in the morning. Pulled onto base at about 6 PM and found the park without too much trouble. The new RV Park is hidden by a bunch of trees and brush. We had no problems backing into our assigned space. The pad was nice and level and plenty large for our modest sized travel trailer. Check in the next morning was uneventful at Bldg 143. We enjoyed two days visiting New Orleans and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of this wonderful city. Kudos to the rec staff for developing this nice park and for maintaining it so well. Clean and attractive. I really appreciate it.
