Our all time favorite campground. On the beach. Close to an exchange store and gas station.
Beautiful campground with wide spacing and trees. All pull through sites. Laundry on site. All nice. Yes, there are trains, but not that close (and it is a Federal Law trains must blow their whistle before every train crossing). San Antonio is a great city to visit and many Veterans have history here. We will visit often.
Best kept campground, the grounds are maintained by Indiana State minimum security prisoners. A lot of space between campsites, a lot of open space, and a fishing pond. It is on the secured section of Post so feels safe. Some permanent residents but I might want to do that someday too. Excellent laundry and not crowded. Wifi works for net surfing but not Netflix streaming. All and all, a good experience.
