What a nice campground! It is close to the beautiful beach with crystal white sand and emerald waters ... restrooms/showers are immaculate, although the morning cleaning time is a bit inconvenient to those of us who enjoy sleeping in since retirement ... staff and camp host are most friendly and very helpful. Location makes travel very easy ... close to major highways. The major NEX and Commissary are a ways from the campground, but are very adequate....

Nice campground ... easy to get to ... facilities clean ... individual sites plenty large. The campground hostess is the best ... she is very friendly and very helpful ... seems to have your best interests in mind, including activities and helpful coupons and information on area attractions. We'd stop here again for a short term stay.

What a beautiful location for a campground. Uncle did well arranging to have this and the Ft Sam Rec Area on the map on this Corps of Engineers lake. Campsite pads are level and easily accessible ... plenty of room between them for moderate privacy. Weekends are very busy, with some noise after hours ... but not bad. Weekdays are like being in a private setting ... very quiet and nice. Cabins are adequate. ...

This is a great RV Park ... huge sites, well kept grounds, friendly host, easy to locate and convenient location on base. The only downfall in our mind was the restroom facilities. They are located in an adjacent park area, convenient enough, but I don't think they had been cleaned for weeks. Trash on the floors, no toilet paper, bee's nests in the stalls, floors not washed/cleaned for a long time. I mentioned it to Outdoor...
