. Our Fleetwood Bounder 2014 came with Pioneer avh-x5500 radio which says it is "SiriusXM" ready. What does this mean other than I am to subscribe to Sirius as I have in my other vehicle ? Someone has said I had to install another antenna in addition to what is already installed in the rv for the radio. I would love to hear feedback on this...Sirius is unclear...

We love having Sirius/XM in our motorhome and Jeep.

Test it! If you do have an antenna connected, you'll get the general broadcast when it's on - regardless of what channel you try. If you don't get the general broadcast, then you're missing the antenna. But I would suspect there is an antenna installed.

As larry says test it, BUT, I have one of the dash mount setups which I can transfer from vehicle to vehicle. Went to ebay and bought extra kits and can now move the 1 unit to just about any vehicle I own. at $16 a month a lot cheaper than trying to have each vehicle registered to receive. Just a thought for consideration.

Thank Larry, we bought a Svx300 connect vehicle tuner yesterday, caught a half price sale, will test that this weekend at storage place, came w a Sirius 3 month free and no activation fee.. Get us through winter trips, then decide after that. Wish us luck installing it. Called Pioneer(our Siriusxm ready radio) tech, she said should not have to mount antenna outside as long as it can receive clear signal, we will try putting antenna on dash with that huge window... We will see

I tried putting the SirusXM antenna on the dash. Didn't work too well, had to change location of antenna every time changed driving direction. I ended up getting an antenna installed on the roof.
