Disclaimer we did NOT stay at Hale. I'm staying at the AF Academy Famcamp and we drove through Hale to check it out. Easy access off SR115 adjacent to a closed gate onto Ft Carson. Apparently, they still have not finished the park. Sites constructed badly out of level both front-rear and side to side. Several inches of wood cribbing would be required on many maybe most sites. The road through the park and loops have lost any resemblance of gravel and look like high desert material and rutted. It was dry so quite dusty. When it rains it likely will be a mud bog. Site and park maintenance appears non-existent. Weeds over a foot high in most places including in individual sites and utility connections. Apparently, no bath/shower houses so you must be fully self-contained. At $45 a night for a larger RV it is not a bargain, and we won't be considering Hale unless the finish and clean it up. Sorry no pictures. I did not stop at office to talk to management.
