There is an unpublished "pre-pay" policy whereby you can prepay in July for September or October and thus be assured of a space for the winter. All published info says "no reservations" so you would think it is "first come first served" but that is not the case. When I left in April I was not told of this policy by the camp manager. I think all camp policies should be published and known to eligible users.

That is what I was told also when I wanted to get in this park a couple of January's ago. "Sorry, we are full, and that "Long Term" stayers were taking up all the sites. You may drive all the way down here, and hope that we have an opening, but I can tell you that we have turned away all drop-ins for the last week!"
