Almost no trees, so the sun beats down hard, be wary of that during hot months. One of the baseball fields was converted to a dog park right next to the campground. It was well maintained with minimal poops that were not picked up, grass wasn't too tall and few holes. Bathhouse close to the dog park was well maintained, 6 individual rooms with a toilet and shower in each. Bathhouse also had a laundry room, but we used the laundry room at the "main entrance" of the park because it was a little cheaper. Not sure why the prices would be different. Did not use the bathhouse at the "main entrance". Staff came and cut the grass of the park regularly. Park rules didn't seem to matter, many guests had tarps on their awnings, extra freezers outside, and did maintenance on vehicles outside. It wasn't too ugly or noisy though. Base amenities included gym, auto hobby shop, commissary/exchange, gas station, post office, and bowling alley. Quiet Park, nightly train horn on and off for about an hour; reveille, retreat, and taps did not play on Sundays.
