This is a very nice facility with lots of things to do, lots of fun toys to rent, and a great and very helpful staff. We had a minor power issue while there and within 20 minutes staff was knocking at our door just to make sure it was resolved. Overall, it's a great facility but some of the loops are not big-rig friendly. Our vehicle is a 40-foot Class-A diesel pusher. We managed to get into our spot in the Ash Loop, but it was extremely tight not only parking but also winding through the narrow one-way roads with many overhanging trees to get to it. I would tend to agree with the reviews indicating the facility could benefit from some trimming of trees, etc. If you have a big rig, whether it's a coach or a fifth wheel, maybe even a very long travel trailer, I would be sure to call and ask for advice on sites that are more appropriate for a vehicle your size. An important note is that this facility is open to the public and you don't need to go to the base visitor's center to register unless you want to go on base to use the commissary, etc. An additional note is that Route 21 heading to the facility was kind of a washboard at the time of this review and even with air-ride suspension, we thought it might rattle us to pieces before we got there. Also, be careful of using GPS as ours was going to lead us past the public entrance to the facility, probably to the main gate for the base, but there was ample signage including a large (like half a billboard) sign at the entrance, so we got it right anyway. Take a look at the photos above where you'll see the large public entrance sign to watch for.
