Right on the lake, some spots are "premium lake spots" but the regular spots still have great access. Lots of trees, but Starlink access still did ok. Concrete pads were mostly level. Bathhouses were impeccably clean, but only open 0530-2100. Two bathhouses, one on either side of the park, and porta potties in the middle. Laundry was on the more expensive side, but lots of washers and dryers so there was hardly a wait. Base amenities: gym, commissary/exchange, Texas Roadhouse and other fast food restaurants, auto skill center was closed, UPS mailboxes. Base was not in a great neighborhood, so going out to eat proved a little tricky. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly, they themselves are the only reason I gave as good of a rating as I did. However, we had several issues with ODR staff. We arrived and were sent to a spot that only had 50-amp hook ups when we booked 30 amp; someone was in the spot we originally reserved. Camp hosts found us a new spot for the night, and we went to ODR staff the next day. We intended to be at the park 3 weeks, and we were told that we could stay in the spot we were in for one week, then we would have to move to another spot for another week, then a different spot for the final week. After the first week, we moved spots but the spot we had just vacated remained empty so I'm not sure why we had to move. Then we moved again, after a day, the breaker panel blew and we had no power. Fortunately, the ODR office was open, I told them and they said they couldn't get someone to look at it for two days and we could move. However, because of other reservations, we would only be able to move to a new spot for one night, then be in a different spot for two nights, then another spot for the remaining nights. This would have been a total of 6 spots over the course of 3 weeks. When I asked why we were being bumped around so much, I was told "Well we can't move other peoples' reservations." When I reminded them that our original reservation was moved before we even arrived, I was told "We don't do that, I don't know what you're talking about." We decided to leave a week early. I called the manager and explained how their reservation system needed improvements and was basically told that my concerns didn't matter.
