This is a very small campground with grass and gravel sites. We specifically requested a big rig friendly site and were assigned to Site 8. Even thought it was deemed a pull through site; we had to back in to get positioned so that the sewer was not at our front door and also due to a very tight turn with an uphill grade near the boat ramp that would have drug the bottom of our 5th wheel. The FHU are set up very oddly with the water on the roadside and the electric and sewer on the opposite side. The sites are spaced far enough apart to be comfortable. If you check in on the weekends, there is no staff on site. It is awkward entering the main gate for big rigs and the security guard did not know where the FamCamp was located. Most of the side roads on base are narrow with large barriers at each corner making turns a challenge with a big rig. GPS directions guide you with appears to be barracks parking lots.
