Review Detail

The campground was OK, but the base access not so much. We arrived at the base and entered through gate 1. We proceeded to the campground and set up. the next day we went to the Navy Exchange, did some shopping, then left the base for some sightseeing and returned through gate 5, no issues so far. The next morning we went to the security office at gate 3 to register, we were told I could enter the base but my wife could not. I tried to explain we were set up at the MWR campground but, no help. I had to leave my wife at the security office while I broke camp. I am an 70% disabled Vietnam Vet and a retired DOD Civilian, and I haave never had an issue before. I should also say, we were there with friends and he was a 100% disabled Vietnam Vet as well, and was told the same thing.
