The camp opened for the season on June 1, 2017. We arrive on the 2nd and departed on the 8th. It was Friday night and the after-hours check-in had maps and site assignments, but no code for the bathrooms or laundry. Sign says to seen the office on Monday to get these. Better hope you have some nice neighbors willing to give out the numbers or it could be a long weekend. Same thing with the internet. The flyers have the wrong password printed on them. Again Monday at the office. The bathroom and showers never got cleaned. The Lady in the office was very nice and knew of the situation. She said she knew it hadn't been cleaned and was wondering just how bad it was. It was bad! Other than that the rest of the Famcamp was clean and well maintained. New washers and dryers. $1.00 per load. Internet was very poor.

Agree w/ the above. Arrived at camp day 1 after renovation. Sites are very close together, side-by-side so don't expect much privacy. Never able to access WiFi even when directly at office/clubhouse where it's was supposed to work. Bathrooms could be better maintained. This camp could use a CAMP HOST for after-hour check-ins and keeping things orderly. It appears that only one staff member maintains the office and possibly the bathrooms, so that area is lacking, unreliable. As for the Hill AFB area - there is a lot of shopping nearby the base in Layton, Riverdale, Syracuse. The camp is adjacent to the outstanding Fitness Center. The health clinic is a short walk as is the library (high speed wifi). Off base Starbucks is less than a mile (high speed wifi). If you visit, recommend using the SOUTH GATE access from I-15 to prevent you from driving several miles on the huge base. Golf Course is beautifully maintained (3 miles away from camp). If you're looking for some good outings, I'd recommend the Golden Spike National Park (about 50 miles away), Snowbasin (Mountain biking, 20 miles away), and very scenic Antelope Island State Park - (biking, hiking) about 8-10 miles away.
