We needed a one-night stay on the way back to San Antonio and this FamCamp fit the bill perfectly. The RV Park sits right on the shore of Lake Nasworthy. There is a Stripes gas station right outside the gate. We made the reservation by phone the night before and were lucky enough to get a water and electric spot. They have a dump station which we used the next day. We were in site 21. The water and electric sites have an awesome, metal covering to cast shade on your RV and your picnic table. I preferred this over the full hookup sites. Check-in was a little challenging with the RV and Truck. The road to the office for check-in does not have a convenient turn-around drive thru. It would have been easier to park in the very large parking lot and walk over the office. We will definitely return to this military RV park.
