$30/night. Long winding twisty entry road. Very curvy in places. Narrow road - about 1-1/2 lanes wide. We came from the direction of Durant OK. Turned off of 69 and drove about 15 miles in various turns. GPS guided us accurately to the campground. -Older campground built in 1950- not a luxurious rv park & has received mixed reviews on this website over the years. It could use some loving care but many of the military RV parks are in need of attention. This very very remote RV park borders Lake Texoma and offers some pretty views if your RV is turned the right direction! Sites were gravel/grassy pads. No concrete sites. Front row sites borders the lake. Only w/e there and grassy sites are very small. Most don’t look as if they’ve been used in awhile. Some electrical posts laying on the ground. -FHU are a little back from lake but still good lake views. A gravel road goes a long way around the park with covered pavilions every few hundred yards. Some beach areas but only a couple seem accessible. Nice clean restrooms. Pontoon boats rental $30/hr. Think many people go there for the fishing. -Very small playground area with and slides. Swingset but no swings. They do keep the areas mowed. However, please note for kids and pets—LOTS of spiky stickers. LOTS. -Interesting to note it’s associated with Sheppard AFB/Wichita Falls but about 120 miles away. -Call if you’re arriving after 1:00 pm to get gate code. But also the office told us that sometimes they “are still open at 2:00 & gate is unlocked until 4 or 5 pm.” (The gentleman that posted on 10/16/25 mentioned that he didn’t like the fact the gate was locked but they give you the gate code when you check in).
