Very pleasant. Campground is on the lake. Has clean and well thought out bath house, lots of hooks and a small bench within the shower stall. We drove to Franklin and toured the Carnton Plantation before heading into town to visit friends, took over an hour to get to Franklin but a pleasant drive. We arrived after mwr office closed but contacted them and they sent a Docusign form. We did not have any ID on the post at the site and when we expressed concern to a frequent visitor about campers being towed, as expressed in one of these reviews, they said they had never heard of such a thing happening. Maybe they have problems with unregistered visitors during busier seasons.
