Outdoor rec told us to us the liberty gate. We called and asked them to lower the barriers, had no issue entering. There is a roundabout you use to get to the campground. Husband was a little hesitant but had no issue. Convenient to just about everything you'd sent to see in and around Rapid City. So much to see and do, we'll be back. We had a pull thru site. FHU at all sites. They have back in sites also. Use the liberty gate to come into base. One gate, (Patriot) was closed due to construction. Our site and the whole campground need to be mowed. Dining hall is open to everyone. Overall, we'd stay here again. Beautiful area low humidity and almost no bugs.
