This place is fantastic! The registration process was very easy and the folks checking you in are friendly and helpful. This base (and the campground) is very neat and clean. The campground has beautiful spots that aren't jammed in too close to each other. We particularly enjoyed all of the large open green grass that they have for our dogs to stretch their legs. Be aware that the campground is directly next to the airport which is pretty active, so there is some aircraft noise throughout the day and night. If you're a light sleeper, you'll want to keep your AC on during he night to drown out the noise, but we really enjoyed watching the aircraft operate on the air field. This campground is also in a great spot to explore the Charleston area. We would highly recommend this campground if you're in the area.
