Our camping experience at Onslow Beach was marred by an incident that shouldn't have occurred. A retired military member was permitted to sponsor 15 civilian RV units during a weekend. As a result two military members were denied access to campsites and were relegated to the overflow area. Shame on the person who sponsored those 15 units and shame on the base for allowing it to happen.
