Nice Famcamp, older west side has character and possible shade. The east side doesn't but is more accommodating of big rigs. Functional, clean and convenient as always. Convenient that is if you're traveling north or south (as we are) making going through the problem-free Truman gate more or less on the way. Backtracking for east / west is kind of a pain but better than getting hung up/ damaged at another gate. The only change noticed was the relocation of the office to an outpost of Outdoor Rec on the west side of the campground. Indicated by a sign on the old office but it just says west, with the first thought popping into my mind being why move to west post? Followed by well. the Truman gate is recommended. Followed by let's check that building on the west side before calling and indeed that is where it is. Still friendly helpful folks working there.
