This first-come/first-served campground have 31 full hookups (sewer/water/electric), and the remaining 54 sites are just electric/water. The FHU sites appear to be longer term occupants, with servicemember assigned to Kirkland with family awaiting household goods and/or base housing assignment. FHU connections are almost randomly setup, with spreads of up to 25 feet between septic, electric or water connections. Laundry facilities are the FHU area, but bathrooms/showers are in both the FHU and limited hookup areas. After 5pm, the office is closed, but a map is displayed with the open sites. We selected one of the two open FHU sites, filled in the registration paperwork, and put in the registration box. Driving around, we noticed what appeared to be open sites, but they had an orange traffic cone "reserving" the site. Do not know what the "cone reserve" entails, as this is a FamCamp without reservations. The dump station, if in the non-FHU area, is behind the office, as is the propane refill facility. There is a dog park provided. While aircraft flying was less on the weekend, it ramped up come Monday morning after reveille at 7am. Our 31ft Class C was able to navigate through the Eubank Gate as the security folk removed one of the bollards.
