Pet Information
Pets are allowed. $10 fee per pet, per night. Pets cannot be left alone outside in any of our recreational lodging facilities with or without leash if occupant is not around. If a pet is found outside by themselves without the occupant in the same location the pet will be turned in to the police.
Campground Information
MWR Recreational Lodging allows up 30 day stays at a time without further approval. If you require extended stay you must submit in writing the reason why. It will then be sent up for approval by Recreational Lodging Manager/Business Recreational Chief/DFMWR/Garrison Commander if necessary. Lower rate is for Active and Retired military. Higher rate is for civilian and contractors.

Although their campground closed in 2009, Picatinny Arsenal created recreational cabins in 2010. These 12 locations offer excellent fishing, hiking, as well as magnificent scenic mountainside vistas and attractions like our very own Frog Falls aquatic park. This pristine recreational lodging site offers many opportunities to explore in Essex, Morris, Sussex and Union counties upon your visit to Northern New Jersey.

This RV park is very close to Picatinney Army Arsenal, especially if waiting for housing, visiting families in the area. The park is beautiful and well maintained. There are great hiking trails, but there are bears in the area that have been seen walking through the areas in the evening time. Camphost is seen on site most of time. We'll stay again here when in the area.
