1. Park Quality - This is for the Shields R.V. Park West Perimeter Road and not the main campground. GREAT park in all respects. Well maintained and facilities are great. FHUs work as required and are in a good location when parked. All streets are asphalt and in great shape. 2. Sites - Large concrete pads that are nice and level. Perimeter sites back up to woods while interior sites back up to other sites. Sites are kinda close to each other but could be worse. 3. Location - I chose the Shields R.V. Park West Perimeter Road and not the main park due to the proximity to the lake and dog park. Also, other reviews indicated the main park had a lot of road noise. This park was extremely quiet even though you are a little more isolated. Would definitely choose this location over the main park again. 4. Noise - Exceptionally quiet. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was three bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - Park wifi was bad. 3 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. Starlink was 72 Mbps down and 22 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $27 a day which for the quality of this park is a steal. 8. Access - You need to be qualified to access a military installation and required RV reservation. 9. Dog Friendliness - Top notch for dog friendliness! No thorns or burrs, close to the very large dog park and plenty of places to just get out for long walks.
