We were able to secure pull through site 33 for one night. It is a pretty campground on a very nice lake. There were a few empty sites at the front of the campground that appeared to be kept for travelers but the majority of the sites still appear to be occupied by homesteaders. The majority of homesteaders sites were neatly kept but there were many fifth wheels and trailers parked with sedans and minivans that obviously could not tow the rv in the site. The Billeting office representative was pleasant and efficient. I would stay here again if in the area. We were able to come in the South Gate without issue. Be careful when driving on the post to know the difference between Forrest Ave and Forrest Ave W as well as Lee Ave and Lee Ave W. The W ones go to the South Gate, the regular ones go to another gate entirely.
