Whats strange about this FamCamp is they do not take reservations. Its first come first serve but if no sites are available, you must park in the boondock area overnight till the office opens. I lucked out and found a vacant spot with power and water only and it was in the tree shade. Best to park at the office and walk the site if you arrive after hours or on weekends. Driving to it takes you on some narrow city streets in the neighborhood on the north side of the base however its easy access without going thru base security. They have full hook up sites that can handle 40' fifth wheels and many small sites with only water and power that are shaded. It was very quite and very dark at night. Only noise is random jets taking off during the daytime. Internet at the site is weak but its available in the group area next to the office which works well and they usually have coffee each morning. They have started updating some of the hookup posts in the shaded area and also have a dump station. Tent camping areas are available. The base has a very nice commissary, exchange, and class 6 store located at the new gas station. No diesel, only unleaded. Its a great location just off the interstate with little frills but is very convenient to visit the Boston area.
