1. Park Quality - The park is overall nice but the roads are not paved and can be nasty after a rain. I did ask about the laundry and was told that all the washers were broken. This was my first stop in "Alligator" country and was taken aback by all the signs warning of them. 2. Sites - The sites are concrete and fairly level with a grass/dirt approach. The FHUs worked as expected. There was ample space between sites. 3. Location - A great location to explore New Orleans and the surrounding area. It is however in a location that is a bit isolated. 4. Noise -Through the week there is some jet noise from training but nights and weekends are really quiet. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was four bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - Park wifi was 7 Mbps down and 7 Mbps down, Starlink was 102 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $30 a day. 8. Access - You need to be qualified to access a military installation and required RV reservation. 9. Dog Friendliness - Outside of the Alligator danger, the park was very dog friendly and there was a dog park at the very back of the park. (basically, a large fence in area that wasn’t well cared for).
