Can't say enough about how great this place is. We had a back in site with lots of shade. Was only able to get three channels on the cable and no TV over the antenna at our location. Expect only one bar on your AT&T cell phone. Very friendly staff. They called to check on us while we were traveling. We camp in a 42' class A. Campground is well kept. Not far from the drop zone to watch jumpers. Gates require a code that is given to you when you check in. We will be back.

Once again known as Fort Benning, awesome campground. While we got a reservation confirmation number, did not get a site assignment. The totally massive numbers of RV sites was the assurance that "some site" would be available. Had asked in February for the campground office to give us a site that she would like to have! Got there mid-afternoon, and we got assigned to a GREAT FHU site with privacy and great views. FHU, and asphalt pad was easy to back into. Throughout, the pull-through sites were just adjacent to the road through the campground, leaving one to believe that traffic noise would be a problem and passenger side door on RV would open sometimes on the road side. Easy access, and the RV site area is protected by a pass numbered gate. As site was within towering pine trees, Starlink was 17Mbps up/8Mbps down; while T-Mobile was one-to-two bars, at 13Mbps up/0.5Mbps down. Uchee campground WiFi speeds were 12Mbps up/10Mbps down. Cable TV with 56 channels also available. No check of DoD or other ID card, as the front of the facility is open to the public. However, to enter the RV/cabin area, a combination code is needed to open the gate.
