Let me set this up. Older pickup truck, 27' Heartland Travel Trailer, 2 Seniors Citizens, 2 dogs. Pros: - Right on the beach! - Great rate ($40) a night - Nice, helpful staff - Nice trails to hike around on - Shaded, big lots! -- Cons: - Cannot take dogs on the beach. Okaloosa county ordinance. Real kill-joy for us - had we known we probably would have gone elsewhere. - Traffic noise from the mid-bay bridge! Terrible from 6 am to 7 pm. Get a site close to the office, it's much quieter there! - Stickers on the ground stops any barefoot exploration.
