Best thing going for it is the lake. Very nice and pretty and clear water. We were in the first campground of three along the lake. It had no bathhouse. Closest (in 2nd campground) was quite far. Our campsite was nice and level but was crumbly asphalt. Was really taken aback by the pet fee, sales tax, and bed tax! What?! First time I’ve encountered fees at a military campground. This added up to a total of $40 per night! Not worth it. Far higher than most other better military campgrounds. Also, could not walk dog outside of our campground. No dogs allowed in second campground and signs at our campground exit stated no dogs beyond this point. Weird.
