Another nice stay at the AF Academy. As always, the staff was friendly and helpful, the price is too high, our site was level and everything worked well. The area has had good rains this year and grasses that had been in decline for several years are beginning to make a comeback. Though we don’t always review, we spend at least a few weeks at this FAMCAMP every year and always enjoy our time here and in Colorado Springs. Oddly, this year the FAMCAMP was not full during our stay. In years past it’s always been pretty much full, but throughout our stay this time it was never full and most of the time was closer to half empty. It did not even fill up the weekend of a home football game. In past years home game weekends have been completely full and there’ve been spectacular site decorations. Hoping this year was some kind of an anomaly.
