Review Detail

The RV spots in the park are well kept and had plenty of space. I believe they are all pull-through and all have concrete pads. The base is not very scenic itself, but it does have the Seabee museum. The dog park has a lot of holes from ground squirrels. The staff at check-in was great! The bathrooms/showers were clean and the laundry was free. Other reviews mention broken machines, but all of them were working during our visit. The golf course right there is passable but not great. I put the location as "4" because there's not a lot to do/see around Oxnard. We did take a day trip into LA to see some of the touristy things (Hollywood sign and walk of fame, La Brea tar pits, etc...). There are a few trees in the park, but not enough to interfere with Dish or Starlink. The only real negative I had was low water pressure which maxed out at about 25 PSI.
