1. Park Quality - I give the park quality an “F” for water pressure and management. The management said it is aware that “some” sites have water pressure issues, but why would you allow them to be used if other sites with greater pressure are available? (My pressure was barely 20 PSI) However, after talking to a number of other guests, it sounds like this is a systemic park issue. I could be wrong on this but there appears to be some very long-term guests (permanent even). One trailer is undergoing a complete rebuild while others have large vegetable gardens. (while in the office I overheard a guest say they were leaving after some three years!) Needless to say, I will not be returning. Oh, and ground squirrels run amuck! 2. Sites - Sites are concrete pads with W/S/E and are pretty level, with a space for your tow vehicle. Each site has a picnic table. I was in site #41. 3. Location - Lots of places to enjoy the beach and the trails that run along them. Recommend heading to San Buenaventura State Beach and walking the Ventura Beach Trail. Also, while there check out MadeWest Brewing located on the Ventura Pier. 4. Noise - Another deal breaker for staying here is the road noise. You would think with the golf course abutting the park that the road noise would be minimal but that is not the case. West Channel Islands Blvd is like a drag strip. Performance vehicles with loud exhaust are constant. I’d take the jet noise of Monterey Pines or Cliffside RV park over this in a heartbeat. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was two bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - Park WiFi was clocked between 2.5 and 9 Mbps down and 0.15 and 0.30 Mbps up. I have T-Mobile 5G Gateway and it was 421 Mbps down and 14 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $68 a day. 8. Access - Of course you need to be a qualified person to make a reservation and utilize the park. Getting to the park is easy and check in has great parking before entering. Wrapping it up. There are some nice things about this park but sadly the negatives outweigh those.
