Park Review: 1. Park Quality - The park is well maintained and has some nice green grass between sites. I did not use the bathrooms or showers, so can’t comment on those. There was a lot of gopher activity, so much so, that it drove my dog nuts. (Could be a reason for us personally not to return.) 2. Sites - Sites are gravel/dirt pads with W/S/E and are pretty level left to right and front to back. Each site has a picnic table and a very large fire pit. I was in site #2.. 3. Location - Good location to visit Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. I highly recommend visiting Tin City in Paso Robles. 4. Noise - Mostly quiet but there is a busy road right by the park and periodically truck/car noise was annoying. I didn't notice it after I went to bed, but I use a white noise machine. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was three bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - Park WiFi was clocked at 50 Mbps down and 24 Mbps up. I have T-Mobile 5G Gateway and it was 228 Mbps down and 101 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $31 a day. 8. Access - Of course you need to be a qualified person to make a reservation and utilize the park. Wrapping it up. A very nice small park that is a great stop when heading north or south along the 101.
