1. Park Quality - A small park with just six spots. Water and Electric at each site. NO SEWER But, there is a dump site right in front of the water treatment plant. There are no showers or laundry facilities but you can use the gym for showers. 2. Sites - You can make a reservation but not for individual sites, they are first come first serve. They are very large concrete pads that are relatively level. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit. As other reviews have mentioned, the utilities are on the same side as the picnic table and fire pit, so keep that in mind if you want your awning and door facing that way when you’re pulling in. (I chose to have the utilities, which are on the driver's side, face the picnic table and fire pit. No big deal to me). 3. Location - While the location feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, it really is a great location. 30 minutes to Bodega Bay, 45 (ish) minutes to Sonoma, and 1 hour (ish) to Napa. It’s also about 20 minutes to Petaluma where you’ll need to grocery shop as there is no commissary on base. One caveat…… You are surrounded by cattle, and this means manure. At times, there is a strong odor. I never really noticed it when in the trailer but when out walking, it was almost overpowering. (and it wasn’t even hot when I was there. (early Oct). 4. Noise - During the day you may have the occasional farm equipment noise but at night, dead quiet. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was three bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - There is no WiFi at the location, but I have T-Mobile 5G Gateway and it was 137 Mbps t0 219 Mbps down (depending on time of day) and 27 Mbps up (this was pretty consistent no matter the time of day). 7. Rates - $50, It might seem a little high with no sewer hookups but when you look at the surrounding rates, it really isn’t. 8. Access - Of course you need to be a qualified person to access the base. Your confirmation letter has the best way to get to the park. Wrapping it up. There is a great paved trail right behind the park and I walked my dog there daily. (She has exceptional recall, so I let her go without a leash unless someone else was on the trail.) If you enjoy beer, I highly recommend visiting Lagunitas Brewing Company (it’s the original location).
