The location is only 2 stars because Beale is literally in the middle of nowhere. The campground is pretty decent and at least it isn't at the end of the flightline like many USAF campgrounds are. The Wheatland gate is the one you should use but drive slow heading to the gate. The road is narrow and bumpy.
