Pretty, wooded area, but many deadfall trees. Campsites parallel the site roads so easy pull through but lessor privacy. Some aircraft fly right over on approach so sometimes jet noise. Bathroom shower house is small and not cleaned well, but plenty of hot water and well heated. The campground is in a safe and secure place, good location for Anchorage, and campers are courteous and quiet. It is a good value overall and the JBER community has much to offer close by. Worth the visit. You may even see a bear!
