Stayed on site #4 for 5 nights.  Site was wide, long and level.  Water pressure was very good.  Access to the campground was easy and directions found here are accurate.  There is no cable for short term stays.  Facilities are clean and well maintained.  Enclosed dog run is a nice benefit particularly for dogs who like to explore off the leash but must use them at most campgrounds.  Camp host was friendly and helpful.  Never met or interacted with any of the MWR staff.  Commissary and Exchange are a short walk away and sufficiently stocked to meet your needs on the road.  Only negative observation is that there appears to be a lot of long term campers in the park.  Every day we witnessed some of them shuffling their rigs to new sites in the park when their 60 day stay limit was up.

Per rumor, Redstone Arsenal MWR RV Park did have cable but lost the contract. The majority of folks have their own satellite so this isn't an issue to many. When you contact MWR to make reservations, you interact with the MWR staff. Their office is NOT located at the MWR RV Park, the camp host is. Not only is the camp host VERY friendly and resourceful but the MWR staff is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy during your stay. There are several "long term" government/contractor employees that work on Redstone Arsenal that stay at the RV park. They are allowed to stay sixty days at a time in one spot then renew, usually on weekends, if space is available. I don't find this to be a negative observation for they are working on the installation and have that right. A smile and a wave go a long way!
