Reservations were easy and very friendly workers. Easy to get to just follow the signs to the park. Just a note that Johnson Road is now West Lake Rd. We used three GPS devices and everyone tried to take us through training areas on dirt roads. If you get on a dirt road, you're in the wrong area. We followed the written instructions and had no problems. Overall, very nice place to camp. One disadvantage is the lack of sewer hookups. Even using the shower house, we had to manage our gray and black water usage more than we ever have had to. The sewer dump location was very clean. Our site was level, concrete pad. Water and electric hookups were in good working order. The park was well maintained except the bath house. I don't think it had been cleaned in a long time. There were dirty sinks and dust on the floors. The community room had a tv, but someone had taken the batteries out of the remote and the satellite was unhooked and the card removed. They had a ton of movies to watch but no means. The camp host was never around. Maybe he has a full-time job and only came in at dark. You have to have a code for the laundry room and community room. since we never caught the camp host, we called the MWR office for that information. The washers are $2 while dryers are $2.50. We were on site 4, a pull through, not far from the shower house. We camped in a 42' Class A. WiFi is nonexistent and cell phone coverage is very limited.
