GOOD: Location! We were transitioning from Dallas to Springfield, MO. Very quiet campground with warm showers and a large laundry room. PX was open and well stocked. Beautiful setting on the lake. BAD: Water was turned off at the site. No one was available in the office. All of the toilets in the women’s bathroom were broken/leaking. Large sheets of paint were falling from the ceiling in the men’s bathroom. There were no dumpsters available...

GOOD: - Location! Tucson is absolutely wonderful in the winter. - Bathrooms/showers/laundry are very clean. - Staff is friendly. BAD: - Spots are pretty small. - Wifi has been down for quite some time. - Some street noise from Wilmot Rd. - Reveille at 0700; Retreat at 1700; TAPS at 2200 (during the week); speaker is REALLY LOUD! - Golf course, base theater, and officer’s club have all been closed.

Since it is FCFS, I called several times before we arrived to check on openings. I spoke with several different people, and no one mentioned that the bathrooms, showers, and family center are all closed due to COVID. We just spent nights at 2 different AF FamCamps, and all of their amenities are open. There is not consistency across military campgrounds on how COVID is being addressed.
