Really nice campground. 40 sites with good road network. Sites are blacktop, level and long. Narrow, but usable for our 40 motor home. Water and electric standard park utilities (locked, given key at registration). Dump is somewhat unusual. There is a 6” opening in a 36” iron cap. When you remove the 6” opening, there is the standard piping for your dump hose, 8/10” below. I have a Sani-con system. Little difficult to get the end, into that space...
Only negative was at the lakeside spot. We do not have satellite. There is a cable hookup at the site, but no cable at the lakeside sites. Over air was spotty. This was our only negative comment, but a great place to stay!!
Have stayed here 4 years ago. Same cleanliness an very good sites. GPS led me to St Mary's gate which was closed. If you end up there, you can turn around and go right to Franklyn Gate. Thru gate, turn right at 3rd light, straight thu next light, park on right. We had a back in by the lake. Lake sites do not have cable. Over air questionable, have to see if anything at night. We only spent 1...
Be sure to follow the directions listed on this site. GPS will take you to the finance building, not near the FamilyCamp. As noted very please with our 1st visit here. Nice pads, plenty of room between site, staff very helpful. Made reservations 6 weeks in advance, glad we did. Park was full, due to a rodeo in town. Only negative comment would be the roads inside post. Terrible and in need of repair. Watch out for some big...
Stayed in 40'MH with toad. Pull thru sites best I've seen. Well planed and laid out. $22 per nite with Golden Age pass. (27 w/o). From main post, road was washed out, had to drive around entire air field. Dog park would have been nice to have. Also sign off the main road for the pull thru area would have also been good. Would stay longer next time, with pull thru site. Really nice place.
