At $60 per day or $1800 per month, this is the most expensive FamCamp I have ever stayed at. For the prices charged you would expect everything to work and sites to accommodate every RV made. First, they do not offer a weekly or monthly rate, its simply $60 x #of days you stay. The WiFi reception is terrible. It will show up as being available (gowifi) but will never connect. I was not aware of the name change from Sigsby/Trumbo Point RV Park to NASKW, neither was the camp host or people in the office. Have been going there regularly since 2015, this was the first time I have stayed in the boondock area on Trumbo Point. Reservations not accepted but spaces along the road are usually open. Daily rate is $25. Very clean and organized. Lots of active duty and govt contractors staying there. I have stayed here many times in the past and never had a problem with the rotation or fact that its rarely full in summer. However, now they want everyone to make reservations online through DOD Lodging which is a nightmare IF you can get someone on the line. Nice RV Park with easy access to everything needed on base. However, security will search your RV on entry. GPS took me directly to the MWR office for check in and they had the camp host waiting for me at the campground entry. He helped guide me into a back in space and answered any questions. Whats strange about this FamCamp is they do not take reservations. Its first come first serve but if no sites are available, you must park in the boondock area overnight till the office opens. I lucked out and found a vacant spot with power and water only and it was in the tree shade. Best to park at the office and walk the site if you arrive after hours or on weekends.
