Positives: Amazing location near Virginia Beach. Located very close to NEX, Commissary and gas station/shopette. Camp staff very helpful and friendly. Especially Laura Lee, who showed us to our site and found us a power extension cord when mine would not reach. The concrete pad was level in both axis. All sites are shaded by beautiful trees. Fire ring and picnic table in good condition. I did not use the laundry, restroom or shower building, so no comment...

This is our 2nd stay at this campground, the last time was 2014. The staff was very engaged and helpful, both at check in and the campground host. The sites are spaced well apart in most cases, though the higher numbered sites are closer together. Full hook ups no issues and worked great, but as others note are at back of pad. Very easy access sites. Good wifi and cable. Close to base amenities. Every thing clean and squared away like you would expect on a Marine Base. Would definitely stay again.

An excellent location on Cape Henry. Check in was easy, and the two young ladies at the desk friendly and helpful. It is in a grove of trees, (great shade for a July visit!), limited number of spaces, but it was not completely full. Shade was great!
