Spent a few days in the middle of august camping in tents. Beautiful camp grounds. Tried to bring a dog but it's worth noting they only allow pets to stay long term not short term. Had to drive out to a kennel before we could get on base. There is a PX a short ways to the right of the gate. It's very small and doubles as a commissary. Only carries essentials and snacky stuff.
