Shhhh.... Peregrine is one of the best Military Campgrounds. Even though it is located right across the street from the USAFA Football Stadium, it feels secluded. If you like to cycle, one can get an easy 30 miles in on Campus and the Eisenhower Golf Courses are championship quality. There is a Community Gym on campus which gets quite crowded. We did not attend, but Outdoor Rec offers a number of guided tours and trips. 

This was our second visit to Warren and we just had to come back. The campground is small and nestled in a wooded area. Antelope are everywhere. The base itself is beautiful. The camp facilities are good, I think Outdoor Rec was short staff which made check in difficult. There is a lot to do in Cheyenne with great road biking and golf. The base gym is beautiful. 

Ellsworth is a wonderful campground. The office staff is extremely accommodating. It is in a great location to explore the Black Hills. There is a nice golf course just outside the gate and Ellsworth has a great gym. With the exception of the lawn, the facility is clean and well kept. We were there just prior to Sturgis weekend, so the campground was full. Unfortunately 1/2 of the washing machines were not working and the grass needed to be...

Do not attempt to get an RV into Fallon on the weekend. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. We called the 877# we used to make our reservation to see if there were any special instructions as nothing was listed on our paperwork. They said there were none.
