Very nice campground! We stayed on Battleship Row (FHU) vs Anchor Cove (there are two campgrounds at Blue Angel Rec Area). We arrived after hours and didn't have any issues with getting into our spot. There are numbers on the welcome center door for POC's when arriving after hours. I had concerns about space availability with no reservations and heading into a holiday weekend. Ann Marie assured me there wouldn't be an issue and true to her word we had no issues and we were able to get a full hook-up site in the shade.
